If you need to rehome your animals

Waiting list

We operate a waiting list system for rehoming animals. This Centre operates at full capacity all the time and prioritises animals brought to us as a result of cruelty, neglect and abandonment by the National RSPCA Inspectors or where members of the public who are in need of our help. When an animal is adopted, another animal is brought in from the waiting list to take it’s place. Please do not bring an animal to the Centre unless we have already told you that we have a space for it. If it is an emergency please contact our Inspectors on 0300 1234 999.

If you are a Sheffield resident and trying to find a new home for a dog or cat please complete our online Waiting List Application.

Puppies and kittens

If your dog or cat has had an unwanted litter please do not wait until they urgently need a home before contacting us. It may be weeks until we have space for a litter, please contact us as soon as the litter is born and we advise that you arrange to have the parent animal neutered (please tell the vet when the litter was born), as part of responsible pet ownership.
