No, she`d like to be the only feline please.Possibly8 years and over please.

Millie is a beautiful natured lady who was brought to us by a caring member of the public after her owner moved away and left her behind. She had been living rough for a while being watched over and fed by neighbours until she could get into rescue.

She had a big sore area on her nose when she first arrived, which tests showed to be chronic dermatitis. After some vet treatment and medication, Millie is now on the mend and ready to look for a new home.

This girl is so adorable, she loves attention and fuss and she greets everyone confidently and cheerily. She likes to make herself super comfortable on your lap, purring and dribbling away happily to herself. She loves to be groomed too and will partake in a little playtime if the mood takes her, but she thinks that being snuggled up with her humans is by far the best.

Although she`s the sweetest girl you could wish to meet, because of her past situation Millie can get a little clingy and worried when she thinks you are going to leave her. Due to this, we are looking for a home with older children and where someone is around most of the time so she relax, stress free and start to enjoy her life again, without the worry of being left behind. She`s not keen on other cats so she`d like to be the only feline in her new home too please.

The trauma of being abandoned has obviously left it`s mark on this lovely girl and she needs us to find her an amazing new owner who will help her to put the sadness behind her and offer her a bright and happy future. Could that person be you?

You can find out if Millie is the right cat for you by filling in a compatibility form. After completing this form our staff will check that Millie suits your lifestyle, setup and preferences and contact you to discuss their findings and, if a match does seem likely, your options should you wish to pursue adoption.

Please note a cat cannot be reserved until you have visited the Centre. This form allows us to judge whether or not an animal is likely to be suitable to save unnecessary visits to the Centre to view unsuitable animals.

If you have submitted a compatibility form and are awaiting our response before travelling to the Centre, please call the Centre on 0114 2898050
