Our charity shop helps to support our fundraising efforts, through the sale of second-hand quality goods.

Opening hours:

Crookes: Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm

What We Like

We appreciate the donation of good quality clothes, bric a brac, new or hardly worn shoes and handbags, household linens and curtains, crockery and cutlery, jigsaws, books and jewellery. We are also able to take small items of furniture in good condition and with CE mark where appropriate.

What We Can't Take

Toys without a CE label, furniture (other than very small items), infant goods such as prams, pushchairs and cots, safety equipment such as cycle helmets, any large items as there is not enough room in the shop to display these. Please don't donate any items that are broken, chipped or tatty – we can't sell them so they actually cost us money to dispose of them. If you're undecided please telephone our shop staff who will be happy to help.

When We Can Take Donations

We can accept donated items at any time during opening hours but would prefer items to be brought no later than 2 hours before closing time.

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to help with various tasks within the shop – please contact the shop directly for more information.
