![]() RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre has had a presence in Sheffield for over 100 years and in that time has helped find loving new homes for thousands of unwanted, abandoned and neglected animals. Our older Spring Street Branch was forced to close in 2005 following a compulsory purchase order. Three years and £5.2 million pounds worth of fundraising later we are now operational again within our new Centre, however with over £1 million worth of building work left to fundraise for and running costs of over £1500 a day there is still a lot to be done. The work of the Sheffield Animal Centre never really stops. It's a sad fact that we will always be needed to care for abandoned, unwanted and neglected animals in Sheffield. Since opening the doors to our new Centre on 17th November 2008 we have cared for and successfully rehomed over 70 dogs and 150 cats. Here are just a few of their stories...
Thankfully these pets are now 'In Safe Hands' but there are hundreds of other animals like these out there – we need your help so we can continue helping them! For as little as £5 a month you can help us continue to help hundreds of other abandoned animals in and around the Sheffield area. Could you spare £1 a week to help improve the welfare of unwanted and abandoned pets? Simply fill in this application form and post back to us at the Centre or contact Kate Payton for further information on 0114 2898056 or kate@rspcasheffield.org. |
