Donations

Did you know that RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre is completely self funding?! That's right, we receive no government funding or funding from the National RSPCA – all our funds must be raised locally by a team of volunteers and seeing how the Centre costs over £1500 per day to run that's a lot of fundraising!!!

Donating to RSPCA could not be easier so please help us help hundreds of unwanted and abandoned cats and dogs today!

There are several ways that you can donate money to RSPCA Sheffield.

Online

Just click on the button below.

Or we still accept PayPal Donations.

By Post

By Phone

Simply phone 0114 2898050 any day except Wednesdays, 10am to 4pm and we will be happy to take a donation over the phone.

Gift Aid If you are a tax-payer the government will give the amount of income tax on your donation back to the RSPCA Sheffield Branch. This costs you nothing but means that for every £1 you donate we will receive £1.28.

Your money really does make a difference!

A little bit of money goes a very long way!

  • £4 buys 1 microchip for a cat or dog, ensuring they can be quickly reunited with their owner if they go missing
  • £5 will pay to keep an abandoned or unwanted cat warm fed and cared for a day at the Centre
  • £8 will keep an unwanted or abandoned dog warm fed and exercised for a day at the Centre
  • £30 will neuter 1 cat, ensuring the population of unwanted animals is kept under control

Phase 2!!!

We have now moved into our new Centre in Attercliffe, however building work is by no means complete! - With over £1 million to raise to complete the build we really need all the support we can get. We are now entering phase 2 of our capital appeal aiming to fundraise to build:

  • A Learning and Advisory Centre – education is key to reducing the number of cruelty, abandonment and neglect cases in and around Sheffield. This will also provide an fundraising events room for the Centre so we can continue to support our animals in the long-term!
  • A small animals unit – so we can take in lots of unwanted little furries (and slitheries!).
  • An agility area and exercise yards for our dogs.
  • A memorial garden for pets.
  • A larger clinic – so we can offer more reduced-cost veterinary assistance.

Could you put on an event to help fundraise towards getting any of these projects up and running? Contact us on 0114 2898050 or email Kate at kate@rspcasheffield.org.

Did you know that South Yorkshire has the bleakest statistics for animal cruelty, abandonment and abuse in the UK? You can help today... find out how.

Legacies

RSPCA has had a presence in Sheffield for over 100 years and in that time has helped rehome thousands of abandoned and unwanted pets. Sheffield is one of the worst places in the UK for animal abuse, neglect and abandonment and without RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre here to help the statistics would no doubt be even bleaker. The new Centre costs around £1500 a day to run; without the financial support that legacies provide we could not continue to offer these valuable services.

If you wish to support us by leaving the Sheffield Branch something in your will, you are guaranteeing the protection and security of unwanted and abandoned animals for years to come.

You'll also help us to change attitudes by providing funding which will help to educate younger generations about the promotion of kindness to all animals.

Please help us by remembering us in your will. If you wish to speak to someone about legacy giving or about guaranteeing that your pet is cared for when you're gone please contact the Branch directly.
