Every year Aquavet have a Sponsored Swimathon (for dogs!) and this year they have chosen RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre to be their chosen charity!!! Last year was a resounding success with over £4000 being raised for Support Dogs so this is a great opportunity for Sheffield Animal Centre and one which I hope you will support us with!
The Swimathon will be taking place on Sunday 20th September at Sheffield Canine Hydrotherapy Centre. The idea is that we conduct a sponsored swim from 7am-7pm with 180 dogs completing 15 minutes in the pool one after another in relay. Each dog will be sponsored with each raising at least £25 in sponsorship but we hope to raise a lot more!!
This could be our most fun FUNdraiser to date and one which really involves your pet! Slots are filling up really quickly so if you would like to register your dog to take part please contact Laura as soon as possible on 0114 2898053 or at laura@rspcasheffield.org.
